Asbestos of Any Kind
Completely prohibited and cannot be placed in any bins.
Vehicle Tyres
Accepted at tips only, with separate charges applying.
Explosive Materials
Dangerous and strictly not permitted in bins.
Car and Lithium Batteries
Not accepted in bins but can be disposed of at tips free of charge.
Wet Paint
Not allowed in bins. However, dried-up paint tins can be accepted and disposed of at tips free of charge.
Gas Bottles (any kind)
Cannot be placed in bins. Safe disposal is available at tips free of charge.
Refrigerators
Must be degassed before disposal. Tips may apply separate charges.
Harsh Chemicals (e.g., corrosive acids)
Strictly prohibited. Household cleaning products are fine, but toxic chemicals must go to tips.
Special Conditions
Building Materials
Items like bricks, pavers, tiles, dirt, or concrete may only be placed in bins with prior approval from BML Skips.
Metal Items
If you have a significant quantity of metal, BML can arrange for these items to be collected separately at no extra cost.
